Each morning on our livestream, the Shiloh Live news crew shares announcements, schedules, the goings on in our school, and an event from history. The 8th grade news crew mentors our incoming 7th graders who will be our Shiloh Live crew the next year.
The video/sound techs are responsible for all of the bells and whistles that make the show run smoothly on the air. Our floor directors make sure the camerapersons are on target with who's on the screen at just the right time. And they make sure the anchors are comfortable with their announcements. The anchors and Today in History kids are responsible for sharing all the news and events! It is a super busy newsroom every morning and we love all the excitement that a brand new crew brings!
This year, the 8th graders will visit FOX45 in Baltimore in late October! We will tour the studio and see a live morning broadcast! We will meet some of the folks behind the scenes who run the cameras, video and sound equipment, and those who go out an grab the stories we hear on the show. We are excited for an awesome experience!!
