S.C.O.R.E. ChallengeThe SCORE Challenge is an annual event in which teams of students from around the county compete to answer trivia questions using three online databases in a limited amount of time. The middle school media specialists partner with the Carroll County Public Library to help our students develop research skills and search strategies. SCORE is an acronym for Student Collaboration of Research Exploration. This year's participating schools are: North Carroll, Shiloh, East, West, Oklahoma Road, Northwest, and Mt. Airy. The 2019 SCORE Challenge was held at West Middle on Friday, November 22nd. After a dramatic, lengthy tiebreaker round that lasted through ten questions, Shiloh finished in second place! Great job, everyone! |
